Background
Our third year with the association, building the official site for the New Taipei International Athletics Open. Competitors, media and spectators all needed one place to find the schedule, the start lists and the live coverage — fast.
The association's Facebook page had just over 600 followers — far too few for an event this size. They needed a way to reach their own audience.
The challenge
A tight schedule, and two jobs at once: get the event information across clearly, and get more people following the association.

No menus to work through. Everything you need arrives as you scroll.
Experience work
The important sections sit in the middle of the screen, so people see what they came for in the first second. Flowing lines throughout echo the speed of the sport.

A link to the association's page, placed right after people find what they came for — the moment they are most likely to follow.
Results
- Followers grew from 600+ to 5,000+ — eight times over
- Live within two weeks
- 100% successful registrations, with no failed entries
