What we do

We are a small studio and we only take custom web design and development work — mostly corporate and brand sites, plus industry sites that need looking after for years rather than months. No templates, and nothing we hand over and walk away from.

Every project starts with the same question: what is this site supposed to achieve? Getting an overseas buyer to actually send the enquiry. Making a thirty-year-old firm legible to younger clients. Turning someone's personal style into an image people remember. Answer that first and the design has a standard to meet.

Why "Blank"

Good design is not about fitting more in. Pop-ups, decoration and elements that do no work all cost the visitor the same thing: attention. We treat subtraction as a method, not a style — remove what is not needed and give the message room to breathe.

That is why our work looks quiet. Quiet is not the absence of design; it means every decision went into making the content easier to read — the rhythm of the type, the proportion of the space, the path the eye takes. Get those right and your expertise speaks for itself.

How we build

We build on static site generation rather than WordPress or a subscription platform. The reasons are practical:

• Speed — pages are generated at deploy time, so no visitor waits on a database round trip.
• Security — no plugin ecosystem means no plugin vulnerabilities, and no admin panel to break into.
• Ownership — the source code and the database are yours. Stopping a renewal does not make your site disappear.
• Readable by AI — the content is in the HTML, so crawlers and generative search read every word without waiting on JavaScript.

We also offer annual licensing and management: server upkeep, certificate renewals and routine content changes handled by us.

Working together

There are two plans. Blank Pro suits well-defined projects that need to ship quickly; Blank ProX suits larger sites with more data, multiple languages or a custom back office. Both, with prices, are on the home page — you should not have to ask twice to learn roughly what it costs.
